Introduction to Aviation Regulatory Compliance

Aviation regulations are a set of rules and standards designed to ensure the safety, security, and efficiency of air travel.   • Other National and Regional Regulatory Bodies: Many countries have their own aviation authorities, such as the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the UK, Transport Canada in Canada, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India. These agencies ensure that national aviation operations comply with international safety standards.

Key terminology in aviation regulations includes:

  • Certificate of Compliance: A document certifying that an aircraft or aviation operation meets all safety standards.
